The High Priestess & Egypt's Civil War

I want to do some back tracking for a few blogs that I didn't get a chance to post before hand. Though I think it will be an interesting experience to explore the tarot and numerology relavence to events that happened on past days.

As you'll remember, being that this is the year 2011, we are dealing with Justice and Judgment. These cards will follow a theme throughout the year. Many things will be aligned, balanced and righted from past years where they have been very out of balance.

Because of the Justice/Judgment theme, it should come as no surprise that the height of Egypt's civil war happened on February 11th, 2011. Justice gave her sword to the civilians, giving them the power of justice to succeed at their goals. Along with Judgment, they weighed in that President Mubarak was far out of line, and his time to leave had come and passed. It was only one day later that Mubarak finally did step down from office, and the violent protests halted.

Though Justice and Judgment played their obvious parts in this day. Let's look at some of the other factors that also played their part....

The day was 2/11/11. This shows us four cards, the High Priestess (2), the Emperor (4) and Strength (8).

The High Priestess is very significant in all of this, and as she secretively flashes her knowing smile, she reveals what is behind her veil. She is a strong and wise matriarch, who is not afraid to put her foot down. She is very protective of the balance of the world, and has unlimited power to make sure that the balance is protected. The appearance of the High Priestess card is a good one for those who are listening to the High Priestess, and a very bad one for those who are ignoring her. This is definitely one mother who is not afraid to bring about some destruction, to bring order and creation back into the world.

The Emperor put his foot out into this battle as well. He is the mighty ruler of Aries, and packs quite a punch anytime he steps into the arena. The Emperor is all about organization, authority and control. He comes into February as the man with the power. Ordinarily, it would be a guess as to what power he brings, and to whom he is siding with. Though it is clear that he helped to organize the people around the world, as Justice and the High Priestess worked to right the world.

Strength was another key player in this day, and help to create a trinity of feminine power for this month. We can see where she worked her magick, as the rest of the world rallied to cheer on Egypt in it's moments of turmoil. Authority figures and citizens from all over the world gave their energy and strength to the people who needed it most at the time.

The numbers 2, 4 and 8 where very meaningful on this day, and throughout the month of February. The number 2 shows that there is a duality playing here. 2 is all about duality, division, choices, balancing opposites, diplomacy and support.

The number 4 is a number of change. More specifically a number of practical change. Where the number two seeks to balance and divide, the number 4 seeks to build and create. Though not in a frivilous manner. Number 4 seeks order, practicality and logic in it's creations.

The number 8 is an interesting player here. It represents achievement, abundance, self discipline, success, intensity and spiritual healing. We saw all of these energies taking place around the world on 2/11, and continuing into the month of february.

How did these numbers and tarot cards effect your life directly? We can see how they played out internationally, though it's apparent that each person felt the effects in their own life, a little bit differently. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know how you recognize these tarotnumerological effects in your life.
